Monday Night @ Wingate Park, BK

I forgot to mention tonight was my second show in as many nights. Last night (Monday) the Martin Luther King, Jr Concert Series @ Wingate Park in Brooklyn hosted a legends of hip-hop night. The night started with MC Hammer going through his hits (that everyone falsely denies ever liking), then came MC Lyte on the mic and finally Doug E Fresh and Slick Rick. No press pass for me but you can find pic links and more on the show over at Brooklyn Vegan's spot.

Let me tell you...Lyte still has it and can go up against any of today's current female artists. I believe she may even have a CD being released soon. Remember I told you.
